One of the most beautiful breeds of dogs is the Siberian Huskies. They are not a common breed but the popularity is rising up. But the question is, is a husky the right breed for you?
Huskies are bred to be runners. So for those who are out most of the day for work, these breed are not ideal for them. Also if one likes to have a beautiful garden at the backyard, one should think twice of getting this dog. They are very energetic, and will end up destroying the garden. Not to mention that they shed their fur. Huskies require a lot of attention. Additionally, huskies are assertive and would only follow a command if they see that it's right for them or if they think it is worth their time. It is quite amusing but can be very frustrating at the same time, depending on the whereabouts.
Huskies are not good guard dogs because they also have a friendly nature. They will end up opening the burglar and show them where the valuables are. They seldom make noise, they don't bark, because they are more of howlers. So if one is in love with a husky, just be prepared to spend all your time and dedication to this breed. They require at least 4 kilometers of running every day; this means a lot of running and walking for the owner, because they do need their exercise. The people should understand the breed and their necessities before being owners.
These breed are beautiful, although they have their disadvantages, they are a joy to possess and the hard work does pay off. The soon to be owner of these breed should just know what they are getting themselves into before diving in.
